FAQGA-type flat plate collectors
The GA flat plate collectors are constructed from 10 absorber pipes and monolithic absorber sheet with a selective coating. The absorber sheet is made from 0.5 mm aluminium plate, which is laser-welded to the pipes to ensure good heat transference. The collector's insulation is manufactured from 30-35 mm thick polyurethane with a density of 40-45 kg/m3, which provides insulation not only from behind, but also from the side, and improves the rigidity of the collector. The collector's covering is made from 3 mm tempered glass. The glass covering has a triple seal: an EPDM gasket, silicon gel and a flexible fixing/clamping plate. The housing and back plate of the collector is made from anodised aluminium.
