Our philosophy
History
Hajdúsági Iparművek was established in 1952. We have produced household goods since 1957 with a gradually expanding range of types and with increasing export. By developing our products, buying licenses and adjusting our equipment to them, we have grown into a medium size company by the '80s. In 1993 HAJDU became incorporated company.
The main products of our company are the thermo-technical household goods (hot water tanks, water heaters), solar heating systems and household appliances (washing machines, spin dryers).
Past years
| 2010. | Development and production of 300-500-750-1000 litre buffer tanks and of solid fuel boilers. Hungarian Quality Product Award for buffer tanks. House of Hungarian Quality award for the floor standing solat hot water tanks: STA range. Hungarian Brands: HAJDU gets into the group of the first 50 Hungarian brands. HAJDU receives Business Ethics Award in category of large companies. |
| 2009- 2010. | Investments to production: new laser cutting line, welding robot, assembly lines, enamelling process and smaller manufacturing equipments. |
| 2008. | New equipment: automatic washing machine, condensing gas-fired boilers. |
| 2006. | HAJDU Hajdúsági Ipari Zrt. works as a private limited company. |
| 2005. | HAJDU Hajdúsági Iparművek Rt. splits into three different companies. The new HAJDU Hajdúsági Ipari Rt. continues the production and distribution of traditional HAJDU household goods. |
| 2002. | Introducing ISO 9001:2000 quality management system, certified by SGS. |
| 2001. | Development, beginning of manufacturing and distribution of gas-fired hot water tanks. Introducing ISO 14001 environment management system, certified by SGS. |
| 1997. | Becoming member of Hungarian National Quality Club. Introducing the environment management system with PHARE-support. |
| 1996. | Design Award for the new water heater family (FN models). BNV Award for the new hot water tank family (FZ range). Cooperation with the Italian Candy group for distributing HAJDU-Zerowatt appliances in Hungary. Joining the Association of Component Factories for Motor Car Industry. The beginning of producing components for automotive industry. |
| 1995. | Introducing new, front loading washing machines and dishwasher on the domestic market. Establishing two subsidiary companies for effective trading in Western-Europe: Transcommerce S.A. (Paris) and Hajdu GmbH (Darmstadt). Development and beginning of producing environment-friendly hot water tanks and water heaters. Environment-friendly technological reconstructions to hot water tank production. |
| 1994. | The company gets privatized by Hungarian investors, as HAJDU Hajdúsági Iparművek Rt. |
| 1993. | HAJDU becomes incorporated company. |
| 1989. | The beginning of producing dishwasher machines. |
| 1983. | The beginning of producing water heaters with capacity of 5 and 10 litres. |
| 1977. | Building a factory site for producing household goods: the beginning of producing space-saving, automatic washing machines. |
